Did 3600 yds. 500 wu, 500 kick, then a mile non-stop (1750 yd), then assorted 250 back and breaststroke, then 500 free, then 100 kick. The mile is taking 29 min. wish I could get that shorter.
I started this blog in Jan. 2006 as a training journal for the 3.5 mi Beach to Beach Power swim on St John, US Virgin Islands. This yearly race benefits the Friends of the VI National Park. I then did the race again on May 29, 2011, the intermediate route this time, 2 1/4 mi. I lived there with my family in the 1970's so each visit is a homecoming of sorts.
